Vehicle Dynamics Engineering
At Widi Automotive Engineering, we provide performance engineering services for motorsport teams. We use well-established engineering tools to provide our customers with the most effective solution. We can assist with on-track and subsystem testing (K&C measurements, 4-post rig, wind tunnel, tyre testing), from defining test targets to analyzing data and drawing conclusions, as well as setting targets for future car development.
We offer solutions to a wide range of vehicle dynamics challenges (for passenger cars and motorsport applications) that require subjective and objective vehicle testing, design, simulation, and model validation. Our team is developing a comprehensive framework for vehicle dynamics model validation to provide a cost-effective solution for vehicle dynamics simulation challenges.
Our Team
WIDNER Attila
Managing Director
Attila leads the company, Widi Automotive, as a Managing Director. He is responsible for managing the company's engineering projects and is actively involved in the performance engineering consulting service. He has a particular passion for vehicle dynamics and suspension systems and a wide range of experience working for motorsport teams in various roles. Beyond his engineer consultant role, he translates his experience into the creation of procedures and standards that enhance our workflow.
As a PhD candidate in Budapest, Attila is engaged in research on vehicle dynamics simulation, testing, and model validation. This allows him to bring state-of-the-art technology and solutions to our clients.
In addition to his role described above, he also contributes his expertise to support the Workshop division.
MEDGYESI Dániel
Performance Engineer
Daniel is serving as a performance engineer at our company, with a focus on vehicle dynamics simulation. He is developing our own tools, mostly related to laptime simulation, which we utilize during our performance engineer service. He brings good engineering knowledge to the company, particularly in CAD design, gained through his involvement in a Formula Student team and various specialized trainings.
He is currently pursuing his master's degree in vehicle engineering at Szechenyi István University.
Classic Vehicle Workshop
Widi Automotive Workshop is also a part of the Widi Automotive family, dealing with classic vehicle maintenance and restoration with the aim of achieving museum certificates (FIVA).
